Seventeen members of the Ozark Section MBCA had a very special event at our Northwest Arkansas Mercedes-Benz dealership celebrating our 24th MBCA Section Anniversary, starting off with the delivery of their very first all-electric 2022 EQS 450 vehicle. Many of us have been anxiously awaiting the Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle debut in our region over the last couple of years sharing videos and articles about the new lineup of electric vehicles coming soon. This dealership who is a great sponsor of our club, arranged to have their first electric vehicle to arrive just in time for our event November 13. At 9:15 a.m. that morning the transport trailer dropped off a beautiful Cirrus Silver 2022 EQS 450, just in time for our event to start at 10:30 a.m. Terry Fabbri: Senior Sales Advisor, did a great job showcasing the design innovations and the features of this and the rest of the brand launching for 2022. The EQS is an impressive vehicle destined to lead the way in this niche of new all-electric vehicles for Mercedes-Benz. With a 340+ mile range vehicle that vehicle is all new from the ground up with innovations such as having all 4 wheels turn allowing it to match the turning radius of a C class to the many performance innovations possible in an electric vehicle. Philip Johnson; Superior Service Director, helped us understand how two master Techs in his team have been fully trained to service all new electric vehicles. He also took a deeper dive into the technical specifics of owning and driving the EQS. This dealership has also greatly expanded service capabilities to best support their customers from building specialty teams, mobile recall teams and even overnight servicing hours that lets you have your vehicle ready the next morning as you start your day. The leadership at this dealership and their teams have a special relationship with our members with the awesome support and discounts available to our club members. We closed out the day with members enjoying a delicious lunch at Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe in Bentonville.
