On Saturday evening 30 of our members met at Aboca’s Italian Grill to celebrate the Christmas Holidays. The food was good and visiting with friends was fun. Ron Seifert presented the 2021 Member of the Year Award to Carol and Kent VanMeter for their leadership and contribution to the Section and the Events Committee. After dinner Gayle Brewer led the group with the Mrs. Wright’s Left-Right Christmas. Folks brought their “White Elephant” gifts from home, and it was fun seeing what the folks were left with after the game. We certainly learned to listen and to remember which hand was left and which was right in an instant. It was suggested that we have an evening for just games like this. As part of the event and for fund raising for the Section, we held a 50/50 raffle. Brenda Brown was the winner, and she generously donated her winnings to the section. A night of fun, food and games was had by all!
