Southern Stars Section attended the Caffeine and Octane Jacksonville Event!
We had a terrific turnout at Caffeine and Octane Jacksonville, with nearly 20 Mercedes-Benz vehicles shared in the Central Lot alone, not bad considering the possible inclement weather and some overcast skies!
We had a fantastic mix of classic and modern Mercedes-Benz vehicles in attendance! We saw everything from a gorgeous AMG GT S Edition 1 to a sleek, low-mileage CL 600, as well as a 1 of 1 SL 65 in Capri Blue with Black Napa Leather. The SL 65 drove from the Tampa region to Jacksonville, FL early that morning to hang out with us for a few hours. It’s not often we have more than one V12 in attendance!
We had some of our favorite classic Mercedes-Benz vehicles in attendance, including our most vintage Mercedes a gorgeous 380 SL in cream, and our second most vintage, a 1984 300 TD wagon! Fun fact, the most classic vehicles were shared by some of our youngest enthusiasts under age 20! An 80s favorite, a beautiful 1989 “European delivery” Arctic White Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.6 (with perfect original Gullideckel alloy wheels!) was there and drew quite a lot of attention! The 90s were represented with at least three R129s and a couple of E 55s at the event! We also had a couple of R230 SLs, one was Diamond Blue SL 500, and one was an Iridium Silver SL 63! We had some newer muscle as well, including a stage II-tuned 2019 C 63S, as well as modern cars with some performance tunes such as C 250 and CLA 250 coupes! It was a great variety of Mercedes-Benz vehicles!
Our favorite thing though was the passionate enthusiasts who showed up an hour or so early to secure a great spot with us! “The early bird gets the worm!” as they say, and we appreciate the dedication of our enthusiasts!
Thank you to everyone who shared their Mercedes-Benz vehicles with us, it was great to hang-out with fellow enthusiasts for the morning!

Which Mercedes-Benz will you share at our next gathering?
No official registration is needed, although we would appreciate a quick message if you would like to attend. In January, we will aim for the Central Lot, for those who can stay in that lot from 8am-11am, as it is restricted entry and departure area for pedestrian safety. If you are unable to remain for that time frame, consider parking in the Exhibit Lot to visit the event, come say hi to us, and depart as you need to.
